Bistek Tagalog is one of the simplest, yet most appetizing dishes of Tagalog region, in the Southern Luzon, Philippines, where β€œbistek” is believed to have originated. The Bistek Tagalog Recipe is a local version of western beef steak. It comes from Spanish word β€œbistec”, it is a type of Filipino dish that made of salted and peppered meat.

Ingredients:
1/2 kilo Beef Sirloin (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
1 tbsp. Fresh Calamansi or lemon juice
1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
2 tbsps. Garlic (minced)
1 large Red Onion (sliced into rings)
1/2 cup Water or Beef Broth
1 tbsp. Cooking Oil
*Refrigerate Marinade for 1Hour
